Arrival
Situated on a south-facing slope in Engelberg, Hotel Terrace offers stunning views of the village, Mount TITLIS and the Central Swiss Alps.
The hotel is in a peaceful yet central location. A lift connects Hotel Terrace to the village centre. There are a limited number of uncovered parking spaces right next to the hotel. The parking fee is CHF 5 per night. Snow chains are compulsory for any vehicles driving up to the hotel car park in winter. Parking spaces are available for coaches at the sports centre (CHF 10 per day).
By car
Follow the A2 (Basel-Gotthard) and take the Stans Süd exit. Drive approx. 20 km along the main road to Engelberg. Having arrived in Engelberg, follow the main street (Hauptstrasse) to the municipal car park and then turn left onto Klosterstrasse. Drive a further 500 metres before turning right onto Dorfstrasse. After approx. 50 metres, turn left onto Terracestrasse and follow the road up to the hotel.
By train
You can travel directly from Lucerne to Engelberg on the "Zentralbahn" railway. The journey from Lucerne takes around 45 minutes. Then it's just 200 metres from Engelberg train station to the lift which will take you up to Hotel Terrace.
